Heather Perry, Warren McMeekin, Mike Perry in the Heat

A very hot day that broke heat records, started with the bicycle parade led by a fire engine and Scottish piper. "Bouncy Castle" set up in the middle of Echo Park and was busy all afternoon. Games for the kids (large and small) included balloon races - racing with a balloon between their legs. The fish pond and face-painting was a popular once again. The kids, large and small, had a basketball shoot. The adults formed teams to play volleyball - in that heat taking photos was also hard work (the batteries died!). Everyone went home with prizes and a full stomach thanks to the Heather, Mike and Caitlin with help from at the barbecue (food and drink tickets were sold at the entrance).

Once again our great team of volunteers led by Liz Norrie organized the piper and fire truck, "Bouncy Castle", races, games, food, prizes, posters, and everything that make this event so much fun. From babies and grandparents to those who have no kids at all, this was another event to remember.
